The Town of Rocksville..

...came about around the same time as I began my 'Rockfords' project.

Rocksville is an imaginary town, situated somewhere in a dessert, where building materials are in short supply. This means that all the buildings and amenities are constructed out of what can be found on the day of breaking ground.

With only a handful of rocks, boulders, trees & various other items that I have scavenged along the way, I try to come up with fun and quirky ideas to help grow Rocksville into a thriving community.

As with The Rockfords project, I do quite a bit of experimenting with elements that I imagine would look good in the final piece.

I also like to try and come up with some fun names for the buildings in Rocksville, and to avoid any copyright issues I changed the name to fit the shape of the rock that the cafe was constructed from.
